YES! We survived the blackout.
Seven days, almost to the hour.
The most wonderful sight in the world was the DP&L truck.
No lights, no coffee, no computer, no football, no power.
Reading done by the light of the oil lamps.
Coffee, since I am addicted, purchased at any place that still had power.
OK, the update:
My show is up and looks very nice.
You may see it at Carriage Hill Metro Park Gallery
Dayton, Ohio ... north of I 70 ... St Rt 201 exit
until the end of October.
The prints are for sale....hint...hint.
A full class this term at the museum.
The "Photography of Fall Color" class. All in digital.
A 6 week class with an afternoon field trip at the end.
Last week ( second class) was of course canceled
due to the wind damage & power outage.
I am looking forward to getting back to work this week
after a week of doing nothing constructive.
So, yes, I am still here.....
the reports of me being buried under a fallen tree
are greatly exaggerated.
